It will provide an authentic look and feel for your classic car.
2. Functionality: The 1M-14486 turn signal switch is designed specifically for 1951-54 Mercury and Ford vehicles. It should fit perfectly and function correctly, providing reliable turn signal operation.

3. Fit and function: While the 1M-14486 turn signal switch is designed to fit and function correctly, there's always a risk that it may not fit perfectly or work as expected. This is especially true if the vehicle has been modified or if the switch has been in storage for a long time.

Its original design and availability make it a convenient choice, and its functionality should provide reliable turn signal operation. However, the price and installation requirements are important considerations to keep in mind. Ultimately, whether or not this switch is right for you depends on your budget, installation skills, and preferences.
Recommendation:If you're willing to pay the price and have the skills to install it yourself, the 1M-14486 turn signal switch is a great choice. It will provide an authentic and reliable turn signal operation for your classic car. If you're looking for a more cost-effective option, you may want to consider a new aftermarket switch or a used original switch in good condition. Ultimately, the decision is yours, and you should choose the option that best fits your needs and budget.
Most have never been offered for sale before. If you are building a car to look time period correct then nos is the only way go. This simply means they are new original Ford. They may or not be in a box.
However they will not be perfect. It is the turn signal switch. Part is nos in the original Mercury box.
Many of my parts date back to the 50s 60 and 70. They will all be in good never been installed condition. This part is a must for your restoration project.
The box is rough but part nice. I try very hard to represent these parts the best of my knowledge.
I will take care of the issue and help in any way can. Marty thanks.
