I will say, though, that even though this is nos, the plating job is not tip top show quality.

And I have to do the revising before you pay. Still much nicer than a crusty, pitted one, and would be a terrific core to get replanted, if you're going for a show winner.

Nothing to do with age or exposure to elements, but it appears they did a sloppy job cleaning the metal before plating, and you can see tiny imperfections in the plating, especially in the outside frame, not so much in the cross in the center.
