Very rare, rechromed 1940 lasalle pot metal signal and parking light tops with lenses. These are 21 long and 2 wide my car is a 52 series but these should fit 50 series too. You can't blame the platter, this is 76 year old pot metal that was only meant to last ten years, which fortunately is thick enough to do some sanding on, but you can only put so many layers of copper on. Most of the lens is not visible when mounted on the car and that is why the glue lines are not a huge problem.
They are straight and fit nicely on the bases which are not included in this sale. One of the lenses has been regaled but not really noticeable mounted. The other shows no glue lines on the inside.
These are hard parts to relate and there are no reproductions. This was a mediocre replanting job and there are numerous defects and pit bases showing through the shiney chrome. Led light used to show about what it will look like lighted on a car. I will consider breaking up the set, one chrome top is a little better than the other and one lens is better than the other, so if you are buying on partial set, specify best top, best lens or either top or either lens, no tops, no lenses what ever you want.
I bought better cores and used a good platter and now have double what I am asking for this set for my new set that is only slightly better and still shows many pit bases. Both could use touch up of the silver reflective paint.
